Very clean second gen 4Runner. However, it has the dreaded 3.slow

Yes, as I understand, it’s not particularly well equipped mechanically, although it is extremely clean underneath. Low mileage, I want to say 176k

85k is barely broken-in for a Cruiser.

Yep. It spent the first 20 years of its life driving about 63 miles a week, and the 21st year driving almost 20,000 miles. The paint is nowhere near as good as it looks in this picture, so I will have no qualms taking it down trails.

Yeah, as I understand, that’s about equivalent to the 4 miles on the odometer when I took delivery of my 2012 Focus.

Awesome rig! my 2006 has just over 294k on it, and it runs wonderfully. If you haven’t already, check out this page for some general maintenance you might look into doing if it hasn’t been done already.

Also, there may or may not be a hidden cup holder under the top lid of the center console depending on the year
. Super useful for when you have a milkshake and a drink.

We got two Land Cruisers in the U.K., about 2000-2005. This one we got as the Land Cruiser Amazon
And
the other the Land Cruiser Colorado

I’ll never get tired of hearing the high mileage success stories with these. I’ve wanted one for the longest time, never expected it to be so soon.
I have been to that slee page, it’s excellent. I hope to get their step sliders at some point too.
We have a small cubby under the top of the lid and then an cup holder tray under the whole lid, with more cubby space under it. I’ll check and see if there’re even more cupholders but, then again, I don’t want to kill my oppo car score ...
Oh, and, I'm planning on getting the little cubby that goes where the AHC knobs would go on those so-equipped.

Ooh very nice.
Funny how they have different numbers of wheel lugs. I've been wondering why the LC is a 5-lug.

The Amazon is a five lug, while strangely, the Colorado is a six lug!? Odd.
If I recall, the Amazon was slightly bigger than the Colorado, so I would of thought the larger would have the six lug, not the smaller, if one was to have five or six.

In the USA, the Tacoma/4runner/GX siblings run 6 lug, while the LC, Tundra and Sequoia rock 5 lug

There are five legs on the C-HR and Rav-4.
While the Land Cruiser (this one, a three door commercial (aka panel van)) and Hi-Lux (this one, a drop-side tipper) have six lugs.

One of the biggest things I would recommend checking if you haven’t is the heater T’s, I replaced mine with the stainless steel T’s off of Amazon, but even if you go OEM, check them.

Good to know, I’ll put it on my list.
It’s at the state inspection right now.
I'll do anything for a laugh

At some point Toyota changed the bolt pattern on their heavier duty trucks and 4x4s to a wide spaced 5 lug pattern instead of the very common 6 lug arrangement common on Japanese trucks . The Tundra, Sequoia, 70, 100, and 200 series Land Cruisers all have the same pattern I believe.
